Headaches and Migraines: How We Help

So you are going along in your day and you are feeling pretty good. You are getting things done, being productive and in a great mood. Then all of sudden you start to get a headache. Your thinking has become impaired, your thought process is a little slower than usual and you just don’t feel right. You say to yourself, “I can manage. I do it all of the time.” Then you go home and the headache is still with you. You take an Advil, but you know deep down inside that’s not the best solution because you continue to have headaches.

I bet you think headaches are normal. Well, they aren’t! The pain that you are feeling is letting you know that something is wrong. You don’t have an Advil deficiency. You have a problem that has not been correctly addressed.

I am Dr. Derek Rice and I know the pain you’re feeling. I used to suffer from migraines and headaches. I don’t have migraines anymore and I rarely get headaches. Migraines occur for many different reasons, and I have been very successful over the years in pinpointing and addressing the reason(s) someone is getting them.

Headaches and migraines are some of the top reasons I chose to be a chiropractor. Let me share my journey with you. I have suffered from migraines since I was a kid. It started back in Junior High. I was hanging out with my friends at a class break and all of a sudden I started to lose my vision. Then all of a sudden I couldn’t see. Being in Junior High I started to freak out. It was the first migraine I’d ever had. My vision was gone, I was freaking out, and then BOOM BOOM BOOM, with the pulse of my heart. My head was pounding so hard I was feeling sick to my stomach. I went to the school nurse for help and all she did was call my mom and gave me a pass to walk home on a busy street. Remember, I couldn’t see. That was a very challenging walk home.

I suffered from these for about 15 years. Only when I finally sought help with back pain from a chiropractor did I notice that my migraines were occurring less and less. At that time I was getting migraines about once every three months. It was nice to have them spread out and eventually go away. I rarely, if ever, get migraines now.

I know that I was worse than some and not even close to others. This I can tell you: I firmly believe that chiropractic made a huge improvement in my life and I want to help you achieve the same thing.

If you or someone you know is tired of having migraines or headaches please call so we can help! I will give the initial consultation, examination, and a personalized report of my findings, and your first adjustment at NO CHARGE!!
